FaithlyBible - Enforcement & Appeals Policy

Last Updated: March 30, 2025

FaithlyBible strives to maintain a safe, respectful, and faith-centered community. This Enforcement & Appeals Policy explains how we enforce our Community Guidelines, Terms of Service, and other policies, as well as how users can appeal enforcement actions.

1. Enforcement Process

Violations of our policies are taken seriously and may result in enforcement actions such as warnings, temporary restrictions, or permanent bans. Our enforcement process includes:

  • Detection: Violations may be detected through user reports, automated systems, or FaithlyBible moderation staff.

  • Review: Reported content or actions are reviewed by our moderation team to determine if a violation occurred.

  • Enforcement: If a violation is confirmed, appropriate action is taken based on the severity of the offense.

  • Notification: Users are notified of enforcement actions through in-app messages or emails.

2. Types of Enforcement Actions

FaithlyBible applies various enforcement actions depending on the nature and severity of the violation:

  • Warnings: Minor violations may result in warnings intended to correct behavior.

  • Temporary Restrictions: Users may be temporarily muted, suspended, or have limited access to certain features.

  • Permanent Bans: Severe or repeated violations may result in a permanent ban from FaithlyBible.

3. Accumulation of Violations

If a user accumulates three (3) active violations, their account is subject to further disciplinary actions such as temporary bans, mutes, or other restrictions. Active violations are those which have not been successfully appealed or resolved.

4. Appeals Process

FaithlyBible allows users to appeal enforcement actions if they believe a mistake has been made. Appeals must be submitted through the Appeals feature located in the Settings page of the FaithlyBible app. To appeal:

  • Navigate to the Appeals feature within your account settings.

  • Select the violation you wish to appeal.

  • Provide a detailed explanation of why you believe the enforcement action was applied in error.

5. Appeal Limitations

  • Users are allowed one appeal per violation.

  • If an appeal is denied and the user believes it was done in error, they may send an email to [email protected] for a potential reconsideration. However, nothing is promised and decisions are made at our discretion.

6. Appeal Review and Decision

All appeals are reviewed by our moderation team. Decisions are based on the original violation, the provided appeal explanation, and any additional context or evidence.

  • Appeal outcomes will be communicated through the app or via email.

  • If an appeal is successful, the violation will be removed or adjusted accordingly.

  • If an appeal is denied, the enforcement action will remain in place.

7. Response Time

Due to demand, it may take up to 5 business days to receive a response to your appeal. Business days do not include weekends or holidays.

8. Continuous Improvement

We regularly review and refine our enforcement and appeals processes to ensure fairness, accuracy, and consistency. FaithlyBible reserves the right to update this policy at any time.
